Mostly Ghostly puts a haunting twist on the guided tour of the main exhibition room of the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum. Like stepping into a time travel machine, this tour draws guests back in time to immerse them in the haunting and harrowing realities of 19th century New Orleans and to show why the world beyond feels so close at certain times and in particular places. Topics discussed include personal encounters with spirits, history of spiritualism and mysticism, “True Horror Stories” of early modern medicine and all things macabre leading up to the most wonderful time of the year: Halloween.
