  • New Orleans Pharmacy Museum 514 Chartres Street New Orleans, LA, 70130 United States (map)

The Through the Back Door Tour of the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum is a specialty Carnival-edition historical tour on the topic of Vice and its Devices. The Carnival tradition is one of indulgence and revelry, when decency takes a back seat and the world is turned on its head. You may find yourself in need of a quick "fix-me-up" in the final lead-up to Mardi Gras Day, and what better place to go than the pharmacy? A look at Carnival traditions old and new as well as the perils of a lie in the underworld of New Orleans. If you know where to find the back door, you may get more than you bargained for. This specialty tour looks at the party and the aftereffects. Guests will enjoy king cake and an adult beverage. A nonalcoholic option also available.

This event is 21 and up ONLY.

Please be advised before booking that this tour will cover mature and sensitive topics that some may find upsetting.
